Lynn Hawthorne has been interested in art, sketching and painting most of her life and has dabbled in many art forms over the years.
Taking classes and courses from a variety of local and established artists, Lynn has painted with oils, pastels, and acrylics, which is now her preferred medium.
Her main focus has been to paint the mountains, either close up studies or distance vista scenes.

Lynn was born and raised in Exshaw, Alberta, which is located at the east edge of the Rocky Mountains. This was an ideal location for exposure to the beauty of the expansive prairies, rolling foothills, and the majestic Rocky Mountains. Trying to capture the beauty and awesomeness of these sights is a challenge and an enjoyable passion.
Lynn also enjoys experimenting with a variety of other subjects when inspiration strikes. |
